In 2013, during his final year at Melbourne Grammar School, Lachlan Strover received a letter from a jewellery company offering to create graduation rings for the year level. After being disappointed with the sample ring received, being low quality in design and materials with a high price tag, Lachlan took it upon himself to design and create the graduation ring for the year level.
The result was a high quality ring, with solid precious metals at a fraction of the cost of jewellery of the same quality by competitors in the market.
With his year level being such a success, subsequent graduating years from Melbourne Grammar School and other local private schools requested the rings to be made again, resulting in the creation of point925 Designs.
